Tax Boycott

January 20th, 2010

Today, January 20th, 2010, is scheduled to be a tax boycott in the United States. Many people who are tired of perpetuating the system with their hard earned money have decided to both not go to work and not spend any money. The premise behind the idea is that we will be opting out of the system. Those of us that are in the know, aware of the starkness of this reality, understand that if our numbers were great enough, we could effect great change. We realize that if we all decided one day to go on strike, that the system could not continue with out us. This is no different than a strike within a company. After all, the United States, Inc. is the third largest employer in the world. By the way, in case you were wondering, Walmart holds the title for the number one employer in the world.
So imagine what the world would look like if we stood together and opted out. Who would keep things going? How would the government generate the taxes that fund all of their illegal activities?
I can no longer sit by and pay for my government to send my brothers and sisters, children and fathers to foreign countries to create more war and chaos in the world. They are killing more of my brothers and sisters in doing so. I do not care of any one’s religion. I care about their humanity. I care that they are the same as me. I care about all living things and their right to exist peaceably, within the guidelines that God has provided.
I no longer wish to fund the Imperialism of our nation. I no longer wish to be a slave to someone’s designs.

The Real Solution To Obama’s Healthcare Takeover

September 30th, 2009

Written by Marc Stevens Tuesday, 29 September 2009 16:27

Just go about your business as if the “law” doesn’t exist. If there really are that many people who oppose this plan, then all we have to do is let Obama and his henchmen know we won’t comply. It’s that simple.

The people who run and support the health care system who don’t want the government takeover just have to refuse to cooperate with the people calling themselves “government”. That’ll send Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid a short, but effective message:

Pass whatever “law” you want – we won’t comply.
Impose your fines – we won’t pay.

If you’re uncomfortable with not complying with the “law”, then consider all the other thousands of “laws” people disobey everyday, such as couples living together, the so-called “unlawful cohabitation laws” and more here.

Non-violent, non-cooperation is the only method politicians have no weapon to oppose. They ignore the tea parties and venting on radio shows: they coudn’t care less if you don’t like their so-called “laws”. However, there’s nothing they can do when people non-violently refuse to cooperate.

Instead of telling politicians you don’t like their plan, envision hospital administrators, chairmen, doctors, nurses etc., calling into all the radio and TV shows telling Obama, Pelosi and Reid we’re not going to cooperate. Imagine millions of postcards to Obama, Pelosi and Reid telling them we’re not going to comply. Forget asking a politician anything; we’re telling the alleged “servants” and there’s nothing they can do about it. Let every call to a radio show end with: “I won’t comply.”

Let them ignore us; it doesn’t matter – without us they can’t implement their plans.

American Police Force

September 29th, 2009

Coming to a town near you…very soon.

There is a private company that has been hired to take over the policing of a small town called Hardin in Montana. Those of us that are awake question the ability of a private firm to police the people. We have already seen what the public servants are willing to do to the taxpayers that foot the bill for their salaries. Imagine what a privately funded group of Police Officers might do…

The people of the town of Hardin are reporting that the members of the new regime have thick Russian accents. There is an interesting logo on all of the vehicles that is the same as the one on the website. I am no expert on shields, but I do know that having the crown over the top of the shield suggests a superiority. This company works internationally.

There is a man that lives in this town who has written in more detail and from a first hand perspective regarding this. Whether you agree with everything he states or not, the information he is presenting is very alarming.

Government Schools

September 29th, 2009

Our family has struggled for a while with the public school system. At one time, I had the school calling me on a daily basis regarding one of my children. They were convinced that he was a special needs child and wanted to test him for special education. I disagreed but allowed them to do the testing. The results were that my child was above average…they were kind enough to inform me that I could still elect the program if I so chose. That is merely one example of the experiences we have had in the public school system.

Recently, we moved from Colorado to Texas. Now we are experiencing a whole different culture of public schools. The schools are behind what is being taught in Colorado and expectations are much, much lower. My middle child that has always struggled to keep up is now effortlessly making the honor roll. My other two children are in the gifted and talented programs and not learning anything…at least not anything new. What if they become bored by the time Texas manages to catch up with their knowledge? I can’t sit and do nothing. We have decided to home school one of the children. If all goes well, we shall do all of them.

We are only a week into the program and still working out the kinks but I am already feeling a difference. I am excited, at this point, at the prospect of having all the children home schooled. Wish us all luck and I will continue to write of our journey.

The Not-So-Federal Reserve

September 29th, 2009

It amazes me how many people are not aware that the Federal Reserve is a private bank, not a government or “federal” entity. It is a private bank, people. It does not have to follow the rules of the check and balance system. The United States is insolvent. Bankrupt. Foreign money keeps us floating for the moment. That means that more and more of the assets of our country are owned by other countries. The assets include items such as companies, roads, resources, houses, land, and more. What do you think might happen when we are unable to pay the debt we owe to the rest of the world? Imagine that the United States of America is a corporation, which is funny, because it is. We are a corporation that can no longer afford to pay its bills and is selling its assets in order to liquidate. Eventually, the investors will come calling, wanting either control of the assets or the cash to pay for them. In the corporate world, that would usually result in a takeover of some kind. In the case of the US, it will most likely be hostile.

People think that inflation is the result of higher prices, and a natural state of the economy. This is not the case. Inflation is caused by the Federal Reserve printing more of its Fiat currency. What is a Fiat currency? A currency that isn’t backed by anything. This means that they can print as many as needed for whatever purpose. It is the larger number of bills in the system/economy that have inflated the price of goods. Here is a simple example: Take a whole apple. Now slice it in to many pieces. Do you have more apple or do you simply have more pieces of apple? Each piece is worth less because it is smaller than the whole apple. Let’s apply this simple example to the money supply. Initially, there was a monetary system that was made up of precious metals: gold and silver. Then the government passed the Federal Reserve Act, creating the bank that we know as the Fed Reserve. It gave the power to print money to this bank. After the American people had forgotten about the days of using gold and silver coins instead of paper money, the government then chose to take the dollar off of the gold standard. This meant that the Fed could print any money it wanted, any time, where before it needed to see the gold and silver that the money represented prior to printing.

I feel like I am not explaining this correctly. Essentially, it is like the Federal Reserve is a ‘mafia-type organization’ that can print money illegally any time it wants in order to serve its own agenda. The people in control of these decisions are not politicians (solely), they are bankers. And their understanding of the monetary system and how it works has allowed them to manipulate the system to their own advantage.

The other piece to the puzzle that most don’t realize is that the people “appointed” to cabinet positions represent the circle of friends that helped to get a person elected. Also, these people in high government positions are going from the private to public sector for jobs, depending on who is in power. An excellent example but certainly not the only one is Hank Paulson, the current Secretary of the Treasury. He previously worked for Goldman Sachs…sound familiar? He is now in a position to give millions of dollars to a company he worked for in the past and probably still has some sort of invested interest. He has also spent his career making friends with China. When he is replaced this next year by Obama’s appointed person, he will most likely go back to working in the private sector. He could conceivably work for one of the many banks that he helped to ‘bail out’ while in his current role of Secretary of the Treasury. And why wouldn’t he? He gave them all that free money with no strings attached.

How much longer is the American public willing to work 3 jobs for an entire lifetime, with no real benefits? How much longer are you going to be willing to have your freedoms taken from you, one by one? I am done. Many people I know of are done…We have drawn the line in the sand. I encourage others to do the same. Stop asking your government to take care of you and learn to do it yourself. Government is not supposed to be all encompassing, or all consuming. Government is merely a tool for organization, defense, and a few agreed upon public works. We do not need a large group of people making more money than the average constituent passing a million different useless laws that are meant to keep us from thinking for ourselves!

Living Free

September 29th, 2009

My intention is to stop talking about all of the things that I want to do, that I know are the right thing to do, and simply start doing them. We want to grow our own food. When I was growing up, we had a large garden that I took for granted. I did not enjoy the chore of having to weed it but I did enjoy the ‘fruits’ of our labor. It used to be common place for everyone to grow a garden. Now we all rely on the local supermarket to provide us with our fruits and vegetables.

Meanwhile, the standards for growing food have dramatically changed. Growing on a larger scale brought about higher levels of pesticides. Farmers found that the pesticides didn’t just kill the weeds or harmful bugs, it killed the crops as well. Scientists began researching ways to grow more with less land…a journey that has led to GMO’s. GMO stands for genetically modified foods. The seeds are grown in a lab resistant to pesticides so that growers (no longer farmers) can effectively spray crops and know that only the desirable growth will survive. The pesticides are harmful to humans. Everyone must know that by now. What most of us don’t realize is that the corporate growers are creating foods that are dangerous to consume. They are aware of this fact and are constantly trying to keep the news out of mainstream media so as not to alert the average consumer. Additionally, the GMO tainted seeds can pollinate other non-tainted crops through the air. The seeds are patented. They are owned by the corporation. So if you are a farmer and you have crops near a corporate grower, you stand the chance of losing everything if your crop becomes contaminated by the GMO crop. The corporation can now sue you for your crops because of the patents.

The next major issue is that the tainted seeds have an effect on our bodies. The rates of diseases such as cancer or birth defects have sky rocketed. This has created more industry giants: pharmaceuticals and insurance companies. These two forces are reaping huge benefits to the destruction of our organic bodies. Talk about job creation…at what expense? Realize that these two industries are leaders in lobbying towards genetically modified foods. They are spearheading campaigns to require a doctor’s prescription to have homeopathic remedies. This is a broad category in their minds. Does this mean the individual won’t be allowed to grow his/her own herbs in the back yard? That is like making the growth of marijuana illegal because of the effects it has on the body. Many plants and herbs have medicinal properties. That is how the prescription drug industry came to be…they went into the rain forests and learned from the curanderas (healers). They then made chemicals that replicate the medicinal attributes of the plants. The problem is that man made things always come with a price: in this case it is in the form of side effects. As a side note, the curandera population has dwindled drastically and their knowledge that was previously passed from generation to generation is now on the brink of extinction.

All of this is happening while Americans sit at home watching the latest of their favorite episodes on television, while eating food that has either been genetically modified or processed to the point of having no nutritional value whatsoever. They are slowly killing themselves. And they are changing their DNA which will affect their children.

Back to the point…my family is working towards gowing our own food. It is a huge part of becoming self sustaining. We have procured organic seeds that have not been modified. We are reading books and talking to people about gardening. We have mapped out the area of our yard that will serve as our garden. We have built our composter and begun the process of creating organic fertilizer. Soon, we will rototill the earth and lay down some peat moss. We are all excited about the prospect of working the earth and reaping the benefits of our labor. We want the children to know what food is supposed to taste, smell, and look like-because the gmo food is not it!

Wake Up!

September 29th, 2009

I have to wonder how it is that people are able to sleep through their lives. I understand that everyone is on a different journey with a different purpose. How can so many people think nothing of what is happening in the world, specifically the United States?

Our government is no longer ‘for the people’. We are no longer receiving representation, as it has fallen to the corporations. This country would crumble without its people going to work every day. It would fall apart if we stopped being such heavy consumers. They need us. And yet, most of us allow the government to play the role of parent. They are constantly thinking for us, but never with our best interests in mind.

We are at a crossroad. Realizing this is imperative. Making the right choice, even if it is the harder choice, is absolutely necessary. It is time that we stood together against the few families that continue to deceive us into working for them. They are sucking the world dry of all resources. They are hoarding. They believe that they are entitled. And that is a very dangerous concept.

Understand that if we all shared, there would be enough resources to live peaceably on this earth. We wouldn’t need to talk about population reduction in order to survive. We wouldn’t need to be constantly at war with one another. And we would definitely not need to be throwing food away in one country while others starve to death.

The individual needs to realize his or her potential so that the group as a whole can be productive and efficient. This does not mean that we need a higher level of per capita income or GDP…it means that we could be working together in a way that facilitates leaving a less noticeable imprint on the earth.

A beautiful way to start this process would be to make the choice to opt out of the system. The concept is very similar to voting or consumerism in that we make our voices heard through our choices, whether at the polls or with our money. We prop up the system by choosing to go to work each day and in being a consumer. Imagine if we decided not to show up for work one day: all of us. How would the system continue on its own? Boycotts have been a useful tool for a long time. I understand that the first thought to come to most people’s minds would be, “What about money?  How will I survive?”  Prior to doing so, we can store up food and begin the process of becoming independent of the system.   We could all simply decide to start living locally and working together as a community again.  Please give it some thought.
